This trek takes us through the rugged west side of the Cerro Mirador Volcano, surrounded by streams, providing us with views of the most important mountains of the region (the volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, Casablanca, Puyehue and Choshuenco)
Here we will be able to
watch a great variety of birds (Condor, Mora eagle, Harris Hawk, Traro, Golondrina, Picaflor, etc.).
Cutting across beautiful Lenga forests and crossing the Bonito river close to its origin, you will
reach the impressive lake Constancia where you can rest on  its shore, take a bath in its quiet waters or enjoy the varied flora and fauna while hiking the nearby mountains.

The southern Puyehue National Park area, where we are going to make a trip that will take us through one of the most remote and unexplored areas of the park.
We are going to hike the centenarian forests, alpine valleys with pristine riverheads, rugged mountains with magnificent views and try a summit attempt to the Casablanca volcano.

Anticura Expediciones was found by Fernando Fainberg (musician) and Paula Medel (Anthropologist), whom have dedicated large parts of their lives to outdoor activities in the Lakes District.
Keeping in mind that Chile is much more than Torres Del Paine or the Altiplano Nortino, their experience, their passion and the the wish to share with you the beauty and remoteness of this region combined will take you off the beaten track and into an unforgettable experience. |
